Greenway Jam to bring live music to five Kingsville locations

Kingsville Music Society is hosting its Greenway Jam, a weekend of musical entertainment, Aug. 12 to 14.

Local and Canadian performers will entertainment concertgoers at five different venues in Kingsville.

Headliners Kathleen Edwards (Friday night) and Steven Page (Saturday night) will hit the main stage at the Kingsville Brewery, 140 Park St.

Opening for Edwards are Garnet Rogers, The Slocan Ramblers, Durham County Poets and Big Little Lions, while Elliott Brood, Ashley MacIssac, Sarah Smith and Julian Taylor warm up the stage for Page.

Tickets are $40 for each night, from 6 to 11 p.m., or a weekend pass can be purchased for $75.

Free Saturday afternoon concerts begin at noon at three locations, The Grovedale House, 103 Park St., Mettawas Station Restaurant, 169 Lansdowne Ave. and The Grove Brewing Co., 86 Wigle Ave., with a variety of entertainment scheduled.

Sunday’s wrap up party starts at noon at the Pelee Island Winery, 455 Seacliff Dr.

The Greenway Jam runs rain or shine.
