Toronto police are attempting to identify a man they allege followed a young girl as she walked home and then proceeded to bang on the door.
On Monday, investigators were called to a residence in the Queen Street East and Pape Avenue area in Leslieville for a wellness check.
Police say just before 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, a 13-year-old girl was walking home when a man began to follow her. The girl entered her home and locked the door.
The man approached the house and started ringing the doorbell and banging on the door. The little girl was not physically harmed.
The man is described as around six feet tall, of medium build, and 30 to 40 years old.
He was last seen wearing oversized clothing, a grey hooded raincoat with neon green stripes, black pants and dark shoes.
