Gunfire erupted near St. Lawrence Market leaving one man seriously injured early Saturday.
Toronto Police say the gunshots rang out around 2:15 a.m. at Church and Front Sts.

Officers responded and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds outside of a nightclub called Play.
The victim was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Cops did not immediately say whether the shooting inside or outside of the club.
And no suspect information was released.
The investigation is ongoing.
So far this year there have been at least 352 shootings in the city that have claimed 41 lives and injured 139 others.
