Woman dead, 3 other people wounded just after head-on crash in Nova Scotia – Halifax


A lady has died and 3 other men and women, which include a kid, have been hospitalized after a head-on collision Thursday afternoon.

In a release, the Nova Scotia RCMP explained officers from Lunenburg, as well as fireplace solutions and EHS, responded to a report of the collision in between a sedan and SUV on Highway 10 in Pinehurst all-around 3:40 p.m.

“While on their way to the scene, officers learned the sedan was on fireplace in the roadway,” the launch explained.

“Upon arrival, our associates found a 56-calendar year-outdated woman passenger deceased inside the SUV. The driver of the SUV, a 67-12 months-outdated male, and a four-12 months-previous female passenger ended up very seriously wounded and transported to clinic.”

It mentioned the 77-calendar year-outdated feminine driver of the sedan managed to escape the hearth immediately after the collision and was also hospitalized with moderate injuries.

The release stated Highway 10 was closed for several hours but has considering that reopened. A collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
