Vigil for Windsor victims of violence to be held Oct. 6

Organized by local community activist and Household of Hope operator Lisa Valente, the annually event acknowledges by name individuals in the neighborhood who have gone missing or shed their lives to violence — from Autumn Taggart, who was raped and strangled in her residence in 2018, to 6-year-outdated Ljubica Topic, who was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and killed in 1971.

This year’s accumulating usually takes put on Oct. 6, starting 6:30 p.m., in Dieppe Gardens at the foot of Ouellette Avenue at Riverside Push.
