Reader letter: Changes to newspaper disappointing for seniors

Those of us who enjoy your paper are worried.

I notice the puzzle page has changed, there is no longer mention of Fahrenheit along with Celsius in the weather report. Recent letters are negative against these changes.

We who actually get the printed version of the Star are usually a bit older. Senior homes I’m sure get tons of papers delivered. I’ll bet some people get the paper just to do the puzzles and now they are miffed.

We like the newspaper in our hands and prefer to read the news this way — not on phones or computers.

Probably a lot of seniors do not even have a computer to read the news. As one Star letter writer said, “If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.”
