The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 in Quebec has decreased by five to 1,001, the health ministry announced Friday.

That’s the fewest COVID-19 hospitalizations recorded in Quebec since mid-March.
Of those hospitalized patients, 19 are in intensive care, which is a reduction of four from the previous day’s total.
The province reported two more deaths attributed to COVID-19, bringing the total deaths in Quebec to 15,481.
On Wednesday, Quebec administered 5,493 COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Since the start of its vaccination campaign, the province has received 23,087,205 doses, of which it has administered 19,962,064.
