Ottawa police are asking for the public’s helping in locating a missing 46-year-old man missing since June 29.

Alan Rasul was last seen at around 4 a.m. that day in the area of Presland Road. Police and his family are “concerned for his health and well-being,” OPS said in a news release on Thursday.
Rasul “functions at a cognitive level of a four-year-old,” doesn’t know Ottawa and may be disoriented, police say. He speaks Turkish and doesn’t understand or speak English.
Rasul is described as a Middle Eastern man, standing at 5’6” (168 cm) and weighing 140 lbs (64 kg). He’s partially bald with short dark hair, medium build, and no front teeth. He was last seen wearing a dark grey striped shirt, black jeans, and black flip-flops with stripes on them.
Anyone with information on the current whereabouts of Alan is asked to call the Ottawa Police at 613-236-1222.
