Two of the three Peterborough location MPs have new roles with the Conservative Party of Canada’s shadow cabinet.
On Wednesday, celebration leader Pierre Poilievre declared his “inflation-busting” shadow cupboard, which he states will acquire on Liberal Key Minister Justin Trudeau, his “costly coalition” with the NDP and their strategies “to keep on to cripple the Canadian economy and make everyday living extra pricey for Canadians.”
Among the 51-member shadow cabinet is Peterborough-Kawartha MP Michelle Ferreri, who is now the shadow minister for households, small children and social enhancement. For the earlier 12 months, she held the part of shadow minister of tourism.
As perfectly, Northumberland-Peterborough South MP Philip Lawrence is now the associate shadow minister for finance and center-class prosperity (tax reform). He was previously the party’s shadow minister for the Federal Economic Advancement Company for eastern, central and southern Ontario.
Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock MP Jamie Schmale maintains his role in the party’s shadow cupboard as shadow minister for Crown-Indigenous relations, introduced last 12 months by former social gathering chief Erin O’Toole.
