A 33-calendar year-old person has been billed immediately after a parking enforcement officer was allegedly assaulted in Toronto, law enforcement say.
Toronto police stated on Oct. 4 at close to 5:29 p.m., officers obtained a report of an assault in close proximity to 1558 Eglinton Avenue West.
Police claimed a parking enforcement officer was conducting “rush hour enforcement” and asked a driver to “move together.”
Officers reported the parking enforcement officer ongoing on to other automobiles and issued violations in the “no halting rush hour” route.
“The parking enforcement officer returned to the to start with auto and proceeded to create a violation as the driver had not moved his car or truck,” police stated in a information release.
Law enforcement mentioned the driver exited his automobile and allegedly strike the officer’s arms, knocking the ticket unit to the ground.
Officers claimed the person remained at the scene right up until law enforcement officers arrived.
The driver, 33-12 months-old Shaiyaa Sprackman from Binbrook Ontario, was arrested.
He has been billed with assaulting a peace officer.
Officers claimed he was produced and is scheduled to appear in court docket in November.
