Peel regional law enforcement have made an arrest in connection to a homicide in Brampton from September 2021.
Police have been known as to a property on Rushbrook Travel in the Airport Road and Countryside Drive region for reports of a shooting at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
When officers arrived they uncovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
A gentleman, later recognized as Guryodh Khattra, 26, was pronounced dead at the scene and a girl was taken to healthcare facility with non existence-threatening injuries.
At the time law enforcement reported at the very least three suspects went to the property in a motor vehicle and then fled the location adhering to the taking pictures.
On Tuesday, Oct 12, 2022, law enforcement arrested Jerome Downey-Apple, 20 of Brampton.
He’s going through a charges of initially-degree murder in Khattra’s death, and aggravated assault for the 2nd man or woman’s accidents.
Law enforcement say Downey-Apple is at the moment in custody serving time on unrelated expenses.
