Pakistan police arrest journalist they say aided son’s crime


ISLAMABAD (AP) — Pakistani law enforcement arrested a veteran journalist for his alleged involvement in his son&#8217s beating death of his new spouse at their suburban household, police stated Sunday.

Police officer Mohammad Faizan reported Ayaz Amir, a nicely-known columnist and Television political analyst in Pakistan, appeared in courtroom in the capital of Islamabad on Sunday accused of aiding his son.

Police had been to interrogate him for his part in the loss of life of Sara Inam, 37, who married Amir&#8217s son Shahnawaz 4 months back.

Inam was allegedly killed Friday by Shahnawaz at the few&#8217s dwelling immediately after a row over a loved ones challenge. Shahnawaz was arrested and police say he confessed to hitting his spouse frequently with a dumbbell and then later experimented with to disguise her body in a bathtub.
