Orlene strengthens to hurricane off Mexico’s Pacific coastline

Orlene grew to hurricane toughness Saturday and is heading for an envisioned landfall early up coming week on Mexico’s northwestern Pacific coast.

The U.S. National Hurricane Heart said Orlene had maximum sustained winds of 75 mph (120 kph) on Saturday. It was centered about 210 miles (340 kilometers) south-southwest of Cabo Corrientes and moving north at 5 mph (7 kph).

The Heart reported the hurricane could bolster somewhat, but could weaken again right before generating landfall.
