An Indigenous lady is walking across Canada on a journey to spread awareness about residential educational facilities.

Jasmine Lavallee, originally from The Pas, Guy., experienced walked around 2,000 kilometres from Winnipeg to Kamloops, B.C. very last yr, in wake of the discovery of unmarked graves at the previous web page of Kamloops Indian Residential College.

“I am performing it for the people. I’m accomplishing it for everybody, I am doing it for reconciliation. “When I was walking to Kamloops past year… I satisfied a gentleman by the title of Travis.
