Guns and gangs unit investigating after 34-year-old man wounded in east-end shooting

A 34-year-old man was wounded in a shooting near Séguin and Florette streets in Gloucester Wednesday evening.

He was taken to hospital with gunshot injuries that were not life-threatening, the Ottawa Police Service said Thursday morning.

Patrol officers were called to the scene southeast of the intersection of Blair and Montreal roads at 6:37 p.m. Wednesday.

Anyone with information, or with dash camera or security footage, was asked to contact the guns and gangs unit at 613-236-1222, ext 5050.
