Blast listened to close to mosque in downtown Kabul


KABUL (AP) — An explosion went off close to a mosque in Afghanistan&#8217s capital of Kabul on Friday.

Interior Minister spokesman Abdul Nafi Takor said the blast went off on the main highway around the mosque,. He claimed the lead to was beneath investigation and that there was no instant phrase on casualties. Takor reported police groups were at the site and that an investigation was underway.

Mosques have formerly been a focus on for assaults.

Photographs could be listened to about 10 minutes after the blast, which took put in close proximity to the Wazir Akbar Khan mosque.
