No reported injuries after tractor trailers caught fire: Toronto police

Toronto police say nobody was reported injured after several tractor trailers were reportedly on fire Sunday evening.

Police say it happened on McNicoll Avenue, just west of Markham Road.

Firefighters say the call came in around 7:40 p.m. and smoke could be seen from the back of the building, as well as black smoke with the sound of explosions were coming from two trailers, and flames were also seen on the roof of the building.

No flames were seen inside the building, but crews say it was upgraded to a second-alarm fire.

The trailer fires have since been knocked out.

There’s no word on what sparked the fire.

More to come.
